During the height of the pandemic when the turnaround time for Covid results had reached 2-3 days for commercial labs, there was an instance of family emergency that required immediate international travel despite Covid travel restrictions. This family had submitted their samples for Covid-19 tests at two other labs, days prior but were unable to obtain the on time results necessary for boarding the flight home.
