Our breakthroughs in Early Cancer Discovery, including the chicken IgY-polyclonal antibody and recombine IgY monoclonal antibody against the crucial sequence of human thymidine kinase 1(hTK1) and commercial hTK1 Cell Cycle kit assay have established us as leaders in precision medicine and innovation. ” states Professor Sven Skog, the current technical director at Sino-Swed Tongkang Biotech Ltd.

Cancer is a serious global challenge. We face the battle against cancer, what do we do? To find a precision molecular target closely related to tumor proliferating growth is essential for early cancer discover. Since 38 years ago, our “Swedish TK1 Research Team” started an initiative project of early detection and prognosis of cancer based on human thymidine kinase 1 (HTK1) - a dependent precision enzyme closely related to cell cycle theory, at Karolinska Institute. It was found that hTK1 in serum and immunohistochemistry was a reliable precision prognostic factor in oncology to assessment tumour cell proliferating. The research technique was transferred to Mr. Ji Zhou (MBA), the president of Sino-Swed Tongkang Biotech Ltd (SSTK-Biotech) in 2002.

Under the leadership of Mr. Ji Zhou, SSTK-Biotech and the research team, guidance from professionals Sven Skog (prof. PhD) and Ellen He (PhD) aided SSTK-Biotech in making significant progress over the last two decades. The team focused on primarily research for identifying specific sequences within hTK1 in regulatory the cell cycle, developed chicken IgY-polyclonal antibody against the crucial sequence of hTK1, and then developing scalable HTK1 in serum assay (STK1p). This is a world’s first developed “commercial hTK1 Cell Cycle Assay Kit” as the primary biomarker and was the first to receive approval for the clinical use in China. The results confirmed that STK1p is reliable a precision tumour proliferating biomarker, specifically, for early pre-cancer risk screening and discovering invisible small cancer based on data of 160,086 people in health examination.

This world’s breakthroughs innovations and development technique. The novel technical system has established us as leaders in precision medicine and innovation. This breakthrough expanded its applications beyond risk screening the pre-cancer invisible small cancer is more precise for early tumour risk assessment.

The firm’s unrelenting dedication has been honoured through several prizes and diplomas, recognising its valuable contributions to precision medicine and innovation. SSTK Biotech’s HTK1 Cell Cycle Assay Kit has also received esteemed quality certifications from the European Union. Over the years, this technology has demonstrated promising results in large-scale health screening for early tumour detection.

“SSTK-Biotech aims to analyse and publish data from more than 500,000 individuals to demonstrate the credibility of STK1p for risk assessments of pre-cancerous and invisible small cancer who may be at higher risk of developing cancer futureless,” adds Ellen He, chief scientist at Sino-Swed Tongkang Biotech Ltd.

These accomplishments are the direct outcome of SSTK-Biotech’s association with internationally renowned biomedical and tumour biology research teams. For example, its long-standing relationship with the Swedish “TK1 Research Team”, fostering collaboration between Swedish experts and Chinese physicians under one umbrella. Leveraging these associations, the company has pioneered significant advancements in early cancer discovery, establishing itself as a leader in this field.

SSTK-Biotech began with three employees and has now grown to over 100, with them occupying various positions in the organisation. The firm’s products cover about 90 per cent of China’s high-end medical and health management agencies and it is currently eying to expand internationally. The company actively attend more than 80 Health-Service Congress and represented the cancer research community and has grown to become an internationally recognised company.

Our breakthroughs in “development of the world's first developed chicken IgY-polyclonal antibody and recombine IgY monoclonal antibody against HTK1 against the crucial sequence of hTK1”, and set up “Thymidine Kinase 1 Cell Cycle kit assay” for serological thymidine kinase 1 assay, a convenient and low-cost inspection technology. It has established us as leaders in precision medicine and innovation.

Our strategy is continually to fulfil the WHO of preventing cancer, early detection and treatment of cancer to win the “battle”. We have successful developed a novel recombine IgY monoclonal antibody against the crucial sequence of hTK1 on a new automatic chemiluminescence sandwich-BSA platform for large-scale health screening. We recommended a model of strategy how to early discovery and detection of cancer. STK1p combined with appropriate imaging and reliable tumour-related markers, in order to have good chance for early cure cancer patients and also reduces economic costs, efficiently.
