Intrials stands as a seasoned CRO with a remarkable 25-year journey in the industry. With over 550 successfully concluded studies spanning all phases of clinical development and post-market endeavors, its track record speaks volumes about its commitment to excellence.

Under the leadership of Marina Domenech, CEO, the company has experienced significant growth over the past five years. Her visionary guidance has propelled Intrials to new heights, solidifying its position as an industry leader.

Operating across six countries in LATAM — Argentina, Brazil (headquarters), Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru— Intrials’ regional expertise sets it apart. Its full-service delivery model ensures end-to-end support, from regulatory know-how to establishing connections with leading clinical trial sites and principal investigators (PIs). This local footprint enables Intrials to efficiently navigate sponsor needs.

“Working with different therapeutic areas has been part of Intrials’ history since 1999 and has allowed us to enhance our skills to cater to the particular needs of each study. Collaborating seamlessly with pharmaceutical giants and agile biotechs, we’re dedicated to fostering innovation,” says Domenech.

At the heart of Intrials’ mission lies a profound commitment to improving public health throughout the LATAM region. By conducting clinical research, it facilitates access of these trials to local patients and contributes to community well-being. Through its endeavors, Intrials not only addresses current healthcare challenges but also paves the way for future breakthroughs, fostering a culture of innovation in clinical research.

Intrials understands that clients in the clinical research space face numerous challenges that impede a study’s progress and success. The company has developed effective strategies to tackle these challenges head-on. It prioritizes easy access to executives, ensuring transparency and agility in decision-making processes. The teams boast extensive local experience and knowledge, allowing Intrials to navigate regulatory landscapes and provide valuable insights into the nuances of conducting clinical trials in LATAM. The company offers tailor-made solutions and flexibility, conducting deep analyses of each project to propose customized strategies.

Intrials fosters close relationships with research centers (sites), key opinion leaders (KOLs) and PIs, facilitating smoother recruitment processes and enhancing study credibility.

Working with different therapeutic areas has been part of Intrials history since 1999, and has allowed us to enhance our skills to cater to the unique needs of each study. Collaborating seamlessly with both pharmaceutical giants and agile biotechs, we’re dedicated to fostering innovation.

By generating economic and operational efficiencies throughout the clinical trial process, it delivers greater cost-effectiveness and value to clients, ensuring the success of their clinical research endeavors.

Recently, Intrials conducted in LATAM clinical studies of an Asian biotech company, which was the first time that this Biotech performed clinical research outside their home country—an unprecedented event in more than 30 years of that company’s existence. This Biotech arrived in Brazil sixyears ago to research rare diseases. It managed to recruit within the timelines, and the study was conducted with the highest quality. The data collected in Brazil made a global Phase III feasible. Intrials’ work on the Phase II study of this medicine was a success and showcased its ability to conduct a study of such importance in three spheres: the biotech sector, innovative products and public health.

These success stories highlight how innovation is ingrained in Intrials’ DNA. The company continuously implements cutting-edge systems and technologies to optimize operations, enhance efficiency and deliver superior results. By staying ahead of the curve, it ensures that clients benefit from the latest innovative approaches. Now, with the strategic appointment of the new CBO, Arthur Nigri, Intrials is poised for even greater expansion and market diversification. Nigri’s expertise aligns with its trajectory, ensuring continued growth and enhanced engagement across new markets and client demographics.
