Lincolnway Veterinary Clinic: A Trusted Veterinary Delivering Integrative Pet Care

Jennifer Anderson, CEO , Lincolnway Veterinary Clinic

The widespread acceptance of pets as family members drives a growing demand for skilled and experienced veterinarians. However, while 60 percent of pet owners believe their veterinary hospitals are accredited, only 12 to 15 percent of animal hospitals are certified by relevant regulatory entities.

At the forefront of providing certified and reliable veterinary services is Lincolnway Veterinary Clinic. It delivers a unique blend of Eastern and Western medicine backed by an American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) accreditation. Lincolnway combines the expertise of four top medical colleges across the country to provide unique care opportunities powered by different perspectives and highly collaborative efforts.

For pets suffering from arthritis, back/neck pain, or joint injuries, Lincolnway practices acupuncture, chiropractic care, and Chinese herbals to restore balance and normal function. It has many other integrative therapies, including stem cells, platelet-rich plasma (PRP), pulsed electromagnetic field therapy (PEMF), food therapy, and ozone therapy, to help them better fight infectious diseases. In addition, it uses cold laser therapy to accelerate wound healing for specific patients. Concurrently, it provides vaccination for cats and dogs, consistently adopting best practices like personalized protocols, three-year options for specific doses, and titer testing.

These competencies are complemented by Lincolnway’s state-of-the-art in-house equipment, which includes digital radiology, abdominal ultrasound, echocardiogram, and a full-fledged laboratory equipped to detect metabolic anomalies. Above all, it provides a one-stop shop for vaccination and treatment, which helps pet owners address all their veterinary needs in one place.

“Our practice’s values, client communication, and continuum education enable us to remain progressive, and we always work as a collaborative team to improve veterinary medicine for patients and pet owners,” says Dr. Jennifer Anderson, CEO of Lincolnway Veterinary Clinic.

Dr. Anderson further notes that while many doctors in the veterinary industry still rely on old treatment methodologies, Licolnway’s team, from externs to veterinary nurses, constantly learns and grows with the evolving care space.

A key example of this is the rehabilitation program conducted by Licolnway’s seasoned registered nurse, which is proven to have a significant impact on animals with weight concerns or orthopedic injuries. Further exemplifying its focus on ensuring a stress-free visit is its fear-free-certified and cordial team of doctors and nursing staff.

From a treatment perspective, Lincolnway always follows the procedure that emphasizes nutritional needs and boosts gut health by adopting tried-and-tested detoxification measures to cleanse a patient’s body and build back nutrients, boosting their natural bodily healing.

Carrying over 60 years of veterinary experience, Lincolnway has reached many major milestones. In one instance, it helped a dog with Cranial Cruciate Ligament (CrCL) injury. For this patient, it performed radiographs to diagnose the problem before opting for a stem cell procedure, where it injected precise stem cells into the dog’s knee. After six weeks of rehab therapy, Licolnway’s veterinarians successfully restored the pet’s normal state.

Similarly, Lincolnway helped a diabetic cat via its food therapy. Initially, the owners could not administer injections and medicate their cat due to erratic behavior. To resolve this complication, it opted for an integrative route, changing the cat’s diet and performing appropriate therapies to effectively manage diabetes levels.

Currently, Licolnway is leading the veterinary industry and producing quality care results by adhering to its commitment to best serve patients and pet owners.
