At the forefront of the global agricultural arena, FertiGlobal is highly committed to advanced research and development (R&D) for innovative plant nutrition solutions that can markedly improve plant growth and yield at the highest standards. Its cutting-edge crop nutrition technologies, bioactivating solutions, and special foliar fertilisers provide highly efficient applications across the lifecycle of diverse crops worldwide.

Newer market requirements, like the demand for zero pesticide residues in fruits and vegetables, reflect a shift toward stringent food safety and quality measures. Combine this with the approximately 500 million tons of food wasted due to climate change every year, and maintaining desired safety and quality becomes an uphill task for most producers.

Global warming reduces crop yields and encourages the development of weeds and pests. Farmers use excessive water and pesticides to mitigate this problem, which jeopardises the ecosystem. On a macro level, this increased usage of chemical agents negatively impacts global food security and public health. FertiGlobal is tackling this problem head-on with its ENVision project. Through ENVision, it developed the EnNuVi solution, which enhances crop resistance to abiotic and biotic stresses at a large scale while increasing crop quality, productivity, and soil fertility.

A compound that combines bioactive polyphenols and selected natural ingredients, EnNuVi stands for ENhancing, NUrturing, and VItalising crops. It triggers and controls plant natural defense systems and resistance mechanisms against stress conditions, including pathogens and climate-related factors like droughts and floods. Since its development, EnNuVi has acquired patents in Europe, the U.S., and China, with the innovative agent set to expand its usage in other countries.

“Our concept works inside the plant and strenghtens its natural defence capability.

As a bio activator, EnNuVi uses nutrient-polyphenolic molecules, which create a healthy plant that is stronger against diseases and pest attacks,” says Gabriele Mongiusti, project director of EnNuVi.

Aligning with FertiGlobal’s core tenet of focusing on the entire plant lifecycle through advanced nutrition technologies, EnNuVi aims to address the rising demand for food by boosting productivity and yield while fundamentally altering how agriculture affects the environment. It essentially supports producers in reliably establishing a farm-to-fork approach, driving safe, healthy, and sustainable food production.

From an agronomic efficiency and sustainability standpoint, EnNuVi’s nature as a suspension concentrate guarantees producers will achieve the best effect with minimal product usage. This allows for more efficient product delivery to the plant, saving farmers money and reducing their farms’ environmental impact. The reduced consumption also enables farmers to offer crucial micronutrients while minimising delivery costs.

Concurrently, EnNuVi gives farmers an alternative to conventional chemicals, enhancing their ability to adapt to the European authorities’ movement toward reducing agrochemical use. It assists numerous European farmers in ensuring a guaranteed yield increase per hectare. In numerous instances, EnNuVi has markedly increased the sugar percentage in the produce of beet farmers. Above all, the ENVision initiative aims to offer essential tools for improving the quality and quantity of production.

Our concept works inside the plant and strengthens its natural defence capability. As a bioactivator, EnNuVi uses nutrient-polyphenolic molecules, which create a healthy plant that is stronger against diseases and pest attacks.

FertiGlobal goes beyond these competencies and continually strives to invest in emerging R&D tools and techniques to enhance EnNuVi’s efficacy in promoting crop health and sustainability.

Besides EnNuVi, FertiGlobal offers many different state-of-the-art solutions for sustainable agricultural methods. Its internal R&D and technical teams are vital in developing breakthrough solutions through innovative crop management programs that can transform conventional agrarian processes.

A fertiliser company with a twist, FertiGlobal consistently assists farmers in limiting CO₂ emissions throughout the supply chain, from fertiliser production to the disposal of plastic packaging.

Today, Mongiusti leverages his two decades of agriculture industry experience to define the most impactful way to bring EnNuVi to farmers across the globe. Moving forward, its status as a subsidiary of Larderello Group, the globally renowned provider of crop nutrition solutions, perfectly poises FertiGlobal to continue helping producers farm more sustainably, responsibly, and productively.
