Fast-forward to the present day, magnetic fields are used extensively for various medical applications, including diagnostic imaging, increasing the rate of bone fracture and wound healing, pain management, and treatment of depression and obsessive-compulsive disorder. EMulate Therapeutics’ proprietary ulRFE technology produces a broadband multi-frequency oscillating magnetic field, with frequencies from 0 kHz up to about 22 kHz., It is obtained from recordings of selected molecules derived using a proprietary Magnetic Interrogation Device System (MIDS).
While the details of the mechanism of action are in development, recordings are designed to capture non-covalent features of the recorded molecule that alter cellular behavior by emulating the chemical effects of drug therapy. Not only does EMulate’s technology essentially replicate many essential aspects of the therapeutic outcome of desired clinical treatments, with no observed toxicity or harmful side effects, but it also overcomes crucial obstacles to drug delivery. For example, in the case of brain cancer, the technology enables therapeutic treatment of the brain, which cannot be reached by the source molecule because of its inability to pass through the blood-brain barrier. As a result of over two decades of intensive research and experience, the company has been granted 41 U.S. and foreign patents (with another pending) for its proprietary technology platform.

Over the years, EMulate Therapeutics has made significant progress on multiple fronts. It is preparing to initiate pivotal Phase III human clinical trials in glioblastoma and diffuse midline glioma, including diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma. EMulate Therapeutics has generated positive data in animal health and bio-agriculture models by treating 20 different kinds of solid tumors in over 300 pets and completing proof-of-concept studies in plant growth, photosynthesis, and weed control models.
