Previously available in North America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, partnership to further accelerate single-cell genomics research in the APAC region

FREMONT, CA: Parse Biosciences, a provider of single-cell sequencing solutions for researchers, today announced a partnership with Research Instruments Pte Ltd to bring Parse's Evercode Whole Transcriptome Kits (WTKs), Cell Fixation Kits, and Nuclei Fixation Kits to the Singapore and Southeast Asian markets.  Research Instruments has been named a distributor for the Parse product portfolio in Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, and Vietnam, according to an agreement between the two companies.

For the Parse Bioscience portfolio of single-cell genomics research, Research Instruments will provide customer service, technical support, sales and marketing, distribution, and related logistical initiatives. Research Instruments is Southeast Asia's leading distributor of genomics and life science research products, with several technical teams and long-standing customer support ties. Their main goal is to introduce and accelerate the use of cutting-edge life science research instruments in their respective industries.

Parse Biosciences released its Whole Transcriptome Kits in early 2021, which included Evercode, their patented combinatorial barcoding technique. In October 2021, they added the Evercode Whole Transcriptome Mega, which allows researchers to profile up to 1,000,000 cells in parallel, and the Evercode Whole Transcriptome Mini, a kit that allows researchers to profile up to 10,000 cells in parallel for smaller-scale investigations at a lower cost.

Accessibility is a top focus for the Parse team, not only in terms of how quickly clients can start utilising the technology, but also in terms of having a fully supported team behind them, remarks the CEO. Research Instruments shares the goal of making single-cell RNA-seq technology scalable and accessible to a broad market. Parse Biosciences' sequencing solutions streamline workflows without sacrificing resolution, and the Parse Bioscience platform is now accessible to any scientist in the region thanks to the technical sales and applications support teams, which are trained and experienced in single-cell genomics applications.
