Unlike most AI drug discovery firms, which focus primarily on predictions, Life Code’s comprehensive, end-to-end drug development solution combines AI predictions with rigorous wet lab validation.

It integrates preclinical and lab-based follow-ups, including in-house toxicological, biological and chemical testing. This comprehensive method, which covers everything from screening hundreds of thousands of compounds to conducting laboratory tests on a select group of promising candidates and testing the predictions, significantly boosts confidence in the results.

Further setting Life Code apart from other AI-driven drug discovery companies, its platform not only predicts potency, such as compound binding to target proteins, but also forecasts toxicity and pharmacokinetics covering the full lifecycle of a compound within the body and how it will work on specific diseases. By assessing toxicity, Life Code ensures safety and minimizes adverse effects. The AI also predicts synthetic routes for compounds— some of which may not yet exist— determining optimal formulations and synthesis paths to develop them to treat diseases effectively. This predictive phase precedes synthesis and testing managed through Life Code’s facilities or in collaboration with universities.
Life Code’s distinct business model further sets it apart. It proactively develops diverse therapeutic pipelines and product formulations in-house, such as for hair loss, Parkinson's disease and HIV. Once compounds are developed and patented, Life Code actively seeks partnerships with cosmetic and pharmaceutical companies interested in purchasing or licensing its innovations, fostering a model allowing greater control over the R&D direction and long-term impact. While the company currently does not operate on a contract basis, it is open to project-based collaborations to meet clients' specific needs.

One of its most promising compounds is the Life Code Hair Compound (LCH 34). A series of LCH compounds have demonstrated potential for treating hair disorders, with LCH34 emerging as the most advanced candidate. After successful toxicity and potency tests on hair follicles and animal models, conducted in collaboration with universities and research institutes across China, Hong Kong, Germany and Taiwan, LCH showcased significant potential for treating burn-related hair loss and male pattern baldness. LCH34 also demonstrated potential in promoting wound healing and alleviating eczema symptoms. Confident in the compound's effectiveness, Life Code has initiated the application process for patents and is actively pursuing commercialization opportunities in both the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries.

Life Code promotes its products with a dual approach, particularly in drug development areas such as virology and neurology. After completing lab work, it conducts cell-level testing through in vitro and in vivo assays. To engage the scientific community and attract partners, the company presented its findings in Singapore in 2023 and will share new results at major European conferences in 2025. With a team of PhD-level experts in biology, chemistry and computational sciences, Life Code is well-positioned to produce rigorous scientific materials to support its discoveries.

In addition to its cancer research, Life Code is advancing several other product pipelines. Notably, its skincare focus, particularly in wound healing, has progressed beyond lab work and is now entering the animal testing phase. It is also making significant strides in neuroscience, particularly in Parkinson's and Alzheimer’s Disease research.

To enhance its research capabilities, Life Code has established partnerships with prestigious universities, including the City University of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) and the National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University in Taiwan. It also closely collaborates with esteemed research institutes such as the QIMA Monasterium (Germany) and the Beijing Zhongxi Testing Center (China).

These collaborations have expanded the company’s access to diverse insights. In addition, launching a new laboratory in China in October 2024 will significantly enhance Life Code's research capabilities, enabling larger-scale studies and advancing its growth initiatives.
